bradder2k8 7
I dont see a problem in letting a young dog see 1 pocket .At least he will know next season what he is in for when he finishes travelling an earth and backs his quarry up .If the dog had no blood on him everyone would have no problem.Personally i started a pup the same way this year by showing him a pocket but he wont see another 1 now cause he is travelling and knows what he is looking for same here i only tryed it and learn from what i have done.. alun1960 234
Feck me we have gone way of track feck the picture couldn`t give a monkeys anyone in to terriers has dealt with worse what i am getting at is WHY OR HOW does a young dog benefit from what happened DEV i thought from previous posts you was sound mate i am starting to wonder the dog is 10 months end of the season now whats the point of what happened.....THE DOG DONE WELL did he i dont think so most of the hard work was done by the bitch who found it bottled it up and kept it there,at shows you see smashed dogs that have never travelled a tube let alone an earth but they are popped in at a stop to do what feck all other than prolong the job and boost the ego of the guy who owns them saying bloody hell there hard this that and the other bull shat in my eyes...The dog looks a nice type and probably well bred so dont give people the excuse to shackle him for christ sake when he probably doesnt deserve it cause he can probably fullfill his task once matured so why give him a knackers job this is what i was trying to say WHAT DID THE DOG ACHIEVE with good breeding no terrier needs to meet his quarry in that way at all MY OPPINION...... End this post on this as it is startin to get boring!! Yawn - get over yourselves girls - Amanda ps my wife -she might be a bitch, but she's pick of the litter!! Quote Link to post
bradder2k8 7
its a learning process bradder but the 1 thing i will say is if you show a dog too many pockets he wont stay til dug to.He will hear you digging and come out thinking that he will be put back into the pocket when you get to your quarry.Well done today im glad your pup done well for you chears mate thats the only 1 he will see. he does enter but i just wanted to see if he wanted them and he does wich im glad but then i get pulled down by people on here Quote Link to post

Royston2 0
I AM WELL UP FOR GETTING A DOG ENTERED AS EARLY AS THEY ARE SHOWING WILLING BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT AT 10 MONTHS HE SHOULDN`T BE SULKING WITH SORES FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS WHEN HE COULD BE BUSHING AND LEARNING ALOT MORE THATS ALL .
