Is snaring/Trapping Humane?

Now come on guys - it's always been pretty civilised in this corner of the forum so lets not start bitching now.

 

It's a good question from someone with limited experience, (I think?) who wants to understand the realities of something before they get involved.

 

I'll tidy up the topic and just leave the factual posts.

The law states that all traps, snares etc must be inspected every 24 hours minimum. I often check squirrel traps and rat traps twice a day. Especially if they are in a new area.
