Basically Teckels work and Daschunds pet/show it's the same dog but if you're talking about a Teckel it will have a working pedigree.

These are european teckels in the truck.

 

 

This is the result of the morning, using beagles and teckels.

 

 

This one is now RIP. worked all quarry above and below. (fox terrier in the background works all quarry below + one of my black ones works all quarry below)

Apparently the price for registered teckels in the UK is muchos.

Basically there is no difference, its just the German word for Dachshunds, the word Dachshund is used here in the UK to describe all three types of Dachshund, long coat, smooth and wire in there two sizes.

 

Most people into working dachshunds call them teckels in the UK, where as in Europe if there working or not there called teckels..

It´s the same ! no difference !

Teckel is just another name for Dachshund ( Dachs is the german word for Badger ) !

the most common word here in Germany is Dackel for them !

Your not wrong there GDWaz.Mr Valentine respected as he is wants £650 for a pup registration of said dogs and rearing will come no where near that.Lucrative little market and surely cant be justified?
