Think they scrapped the minimum order thing as long as they are delivering in the area or something.

 

Worst way you may have to meet with the driver if he doesn't currently drop in your vicinity

i work in a butchers mate and i can get things like ox hearts ordered in anytime. i also get old meat which cant be sold but is perfectly good for the dogs. go in and ask your local butcher if he can get anything like that ordered in for you

There's a load of horse slaughterhouses not far this side of the QE2 bridge. . see if one of them are open to the idea of selling you their crap.

 

Or chat up your local slaughterhouse.

 

We found butchers where we used to live very unhelpful, some even refused to sell us stuff because they knew it was for the dogs.

Landywoods are good but if u find a local slaughter house with a shop attached thats best. Do a bit of shopping there for a week or two before you start asking favours though.

We used to get better results if I sent Kirsty in.

 

It does pay to be a customer first though, even if it's just a few sausages and some eggs once a week (or so)

get to know some people at the slaughter house and get you lamb ribs and chicken crcas from a friendly butcher.....

I use a Landywoods and find them excellent. With regards to horse meat a guy I knew fed it to his dogs and is always produced runny stools.....

pet shop at rush green all bagged in 1lb bags very cheap i know a lot of hunting boys use this shop as i do and only 10 minutes from dartford crossing

Look in the countrymans weekly theres aplace called TPMS i have my meat from there i think they deliver all over uk .

Pretty good on price too.

contact defra and enqiure about a license to feed dogs cat 1 waste then you can purchase fallen stock meat from knacker yard its as fresh as you like as it has just been killed that day i pay 30p a kilo i only feed horse meat to my dogs when they are workin hard but if they are not in work they ended up to hyper but you get the best of beef from these places and the good thing is less crap than with bisciuts
