DIGGIT 6
HI ALL for the last week or so ive been trying out some new filters on my lamp, and i must say there working very well, foxs and rabbits don't seem be put off by them at all, i would go as far to say there better than the standard red one most of us go for. please let me know if you have used or are useing a different colour filter on your lamp, and how is working for you. thanks all the best lee Quote Link to post

DIGGIT 6
yeah..do you think you get a bit longer range with the amber i do. iv used the green but the beam dont go half as far? i think your right you do get more range with the amber, also foxs and rabbits stand out better as well, this must make it easier for the dog to see and work, i think its a big plus Quote Link to post

bird 9,970
I use red, when you get to dec or january most stuff is a bit edgy. i dont think it makes much differnce when they are like that. BIRD Quote Link to post
BenBhoy 4,706
yeah, gotta agree with bird, if something has become lamp shy, then i dont think red, amber etc makes much difference. Quote Link to post

jonathan 0
i like the green one the best but if the rabbits are not lamp shy white light is best Quote Link to post
lurcherchavvy 3
iv only used the red and it served me well but when im not with someone else with a lamp i dont use it because the beam is crap....its alright for spotting them and that but once the dogs slipped its better to get a white beam on again Quote Link to post
