jamie g 17
He makes very good mods does Dave got to agree with this guy. i have one on my annie hmr and its the dogs bits. well built, easy to clean. and take the blast away from the shot. sill get the sonic crack like a sak. but the blast you hear when the trigger is pulled with the sak on, is took away with the dm80. look after it and it will last for many many years if not all its shooting like on that rifle. never heard one on a 22lr but i dont think there is as much difference with any mod on a 22lr's using sub ammo. best ive heard are the ase and a carbon mod i got from my local gunshop where the guy makes them. on my 16inch barrel cz 22lr there isnt any difference in the ase and the carbon one. but there better then the sak by a little. it just depends on if you want to pay 30 pound more. down range a rabbit wouldnt really hear it anyway. but i like to have a rifle that is as silent as possble. on my mates 20 inch barrel cz 22lr we tryed all the mods we tryed on mine and on his the ase was the best ! thats mad. as on mine the carbon one and the ase didnt sound any different ? the only thing it can be is barrel lenghth ? i would still have a dm80 on 22lr if anything because it cuts down the overall length of the the rifle plus dm80 is bring a new version of his mod out soon. which is better he says because its lighter, smaller in length and diam, and he more silent then the old one Edited March 26, 2008 by jamie g Quote Link to post

stillair1 16
I got one for my sako as I wanted to keep the full length barrel without adding to much length. As above I believe they are only available through the shop now and the price has gone up a smidge. But hey compared to a pes they are still a bargain. Quote Link to post
