dogsb100 0
Hi has anyone ever had this type of lurcher, if so what was your opinion of it, and could we see some photos...... I keep cockers and they have brains, good nose soft mouths and are easy to train, but you never see this cross advertised. i would give one a try, but its no good having a litter if no one wants them.. based on the hunting abilty of the cocker and speed of the greyhound type, i think it would make a decent rabbitting dog .....!!!! what do you think Quote Link to post
chartpolski 23,146
i reckon it woyul be quite a good daytime dog, but that cocker nose could make it hunt up when lamping. not to sure what they would look like. Daytime on what ??? Cheers. Quote Link to post

I know that could be a problem if the dog was,nt trained properly but my cockers work in the beating line and never hunt more than twenty feet in front, thats because they are never alowed to go any further in their training. LDR 29
i wouldn't go for that cross, would've thought it' be too slow, it'll throw pups heavy to the grey and pups heavy to the cocker, why not just use your cocker for bushing and pushing stuff out, like they're bred for and use the running dog for its designated job?? works for us using a springer!!!
