should go to orkney islands for a bit of sea fishing. massive pike there

try the bar loch other side of the road from the loch whinock the kilburnie just up the road from where you are the stanely dam near paisley the barhead resi not to bad as well

Used to fish at Castle Loch, Loch Maben about 25 years ago! Mate caught a 25pounder there, I only managed an 11 pounds fish.

Don't know what its like now but a lovely place near the Caeverlock Widlife sanctuary.

Loch Ken is (was) good fishing also. Cheers, D.

the holl reserve wire cought hundreds of jack'splenty over 5lb aswell had one 17ld hen fish and have seen much bigger fish on the surface in the summer they now do pike fishing aswell so dnt have to poach

Where's that place Kreet? Im in Angus and would like to find some Pike fishing also but there doesnt seem to be that much that i know of around me.. Any help would be great..

one of the best pike waters in scotland is a place caled LAKE MENTITH OR MENTEITH i have done quite a lot of pike fishing i was a member of the P.A.C. the pike anglers club i did not fish it personly but some of the bigest pike in the country came out of there .i presum it is in a place called MENTEITH. look it up and see what you can find out or get in touch with the P.A.C I MIGHT BE WRONG IT MIGHT BE IN CUMBRIA

Lake of Menteith, it's near Stirling.

 

Only 4 days pike fishing a year allowed, 2 for the PAC and 2 for PAAS so you would need to join either / or to get access.

the place i was talking about is in fife mate probably a bit far it was £10 for the day bank fishing but its a fishery so if there are to many boats out you aint alowed on because they are paying alot more money to fish the water and complain if there are rods in of the side the catch less fish so they say. ill ask the boy whats what with the fishing this year and let you know the crack .
