bullmastiff 615
Well just got back and had a cracking day out, it was a hot and Sunny until about 2ish when the clouds came in and the temp dropped a bit but the rain held off. I got some fairly decent video (hopefully) of a few of the races but handed the camcorder over to the missus when Roo raced, they got the start of it but then Tia decided to try and take off after the Lure as well she knocked the cam out of her hand Never mind, he had to run again anyway as the lure broke! second time she gave the cam to the lady next to her. who preceded to film the car at the end of the track so just caught the dogs in the last 10 yds as they crossed the line. Showing started at 1pm, I entered Roo in Bull X which he came third and then in Working Lurchers where he didn't place. Still I had some fun and met some nice people. Thank You staffiedownwest, I'll be looking forward to next year!
staffiedownwest 6
Thank you for every member (friends and family) that attended yesterday's show - WOW what a turn out and what a success. The weather was really kind to us and the rain held off until 5 minutes after the Championship was held. We had a really good turn out of Lurchers and Terriers and the family dog ring held its own as well. More than I could have imagined turned up for Racing and yes whilst there was a little hiccup at the start, it was soon sorted and, as far as i know, went well. I have posted the results of the Racing and Showing below with a couple of initial photographs. I will post some more photographs later, when I have had a chance to upload them from my camera. AGAIN, really big thanks to all those who attended and I hope to see you next year. bullmastiff 615
The cute girl that won the under 23" racing I think had racing Whippets? or 7/8 racing whippet crosses, fancy trailer and all! (top pic) the guy on the right of pic was a really nice, genuine guy with a proper working dog. It was a shame he/his dog didn't win it, as it was really close (he released slightly later by the look's of it?), I filmed it (just trying to get it converted from mini DV tape to DVD so I can post it!) Daz 418 mile round Trip, your mad!!! next time just give us a shout and we'll put you up for the night, Dog included! Never know, might be able to get you out for a mooch about as well!!! Thanks again SDW. Luke. (and Roo!)

I had a technical problem with my computer, hence could not email pics to organiser. Regards
