Hi I see you have Bushnell elite 4200 tactical scope. Do you find the optics on this far better than MTC viper. looking at changing my hawke scope for something better to go on my .17HMR but don'nt think I could go to a Swarovski or something like that, but want something better than Hawke. Cheers i only put the bushnell on the hmr intill i get centrefire mate, and then i will put my simmons whitetail 6.5x20x50 on it again. it isnt as clear as the mtc but i use the mtc 3x12x44 on my fac air as it has a good zoom on it yet i can put it down to to 3 for closer stuff. i have a 4x16x50 mtc to for my 22lr. and i wouldnt swap it for the world. perfect rifle for night time rabbiting. and its good as i can aim at different ranges over my 60 yard zero. as the crosshair system is good for that. mtc is more then you need on hmr. but if you want to spend abit more get the bushnell you can pick them up for £300 or abit less on the forums on the net. but try and get a look though a mtc and your be surprized how clear they are for the money. i no alot of people have got them and there after service is one of the best around. gary and sammy that own mtc are nice people and will sort you out if you give them a bell Edited March 26, 2008 by jamie g Quote Link to post
