jasper65 6
Di canio certainly didnt have legend type status down at west ham.....in fact he took a lot of stick when he first arrived...upton park crowds have always been hard on a foreigner who doesnt give 100 %....just ask that prick boa morte .........at the start di canio wanted the ball at his feet or he would just stand with his hands in the air.....but credit where its due he had fantastic ability and put in some great displays and was well liked....certainly not legendary status though. I think you're right in what you're saying Gnasher... But from a none football acheivment I have to give the lad his Doo's!! the push on the Ref and the way the ref went down was a classic .... Why is it rugby fans are always slagging off footballers but football fans dont slag off rugby players...my guess is jealousy. By the way.....i would have serious doubts about any " real man " who was happy to have his face 6 inches from other mens arseholes....

THE STIFFMEISTER 15,937
Probably the greatest game I have ever seen one man have was mark Hughes single handed demolition of his old team Barcelona in the 93??? ECWC final..Fantastic... Can't disagree with that Stiff ('91)..odd the goal from the acute angle is seldom shown (many players would have fluffed it) Fantastic player a real hard man who could take it as well as dish it out..Great technique for the finish Although to tie two tales together..A very similar finish can be found in the old firm game mayish 2001?? When Larrson rounds Klos and buries it at an impossible angle to make it 3 nil..his 50th of that season..The other two goals that game were masterclasses from another genius with the ball Lubo! lubo! lubo!! Ps Mon the hoops tomorrow!!!

jasper65 6
And scared of flying is'nt he lol . Why don't you admit it it's a lady-boys game these days with small minded spoilt grossly overpaid premadonnas that think they're untouchables , the game totaly reflects the country we live in Definitley a element of truth in that Uncle Bulgagria but I still love the game. the game is slowly turning into a virtual none contact sport but it will always generate and bring in more viewers than Rugby, having said that Rugby is getting alot of recognition now ..... gnasher16 30,121
I wonder if thats anything to do with the influx of foreign players by any chance....i remember watching the 86 world cup for example...and laughing at the way other countries players rolled around the floor every time they was touched....now they are all over here ! stands to reason really.
