trader 0
if you mean fox mine did a few pre ban but not regular enough to know if she would have made a good fox dog. thats a good honest assessment of your own dog ,dont here much of that these days ,generally the good dog men do it .people who suffer from kennel blindness rarely if ever have anything of any use Quote Link to post
FJager 0
Love that GWP cross, what else in it? Quote Link to post
pointer 543
the choc/red and white bitch is a 3/4 pointer cross. i am mr wright i hope im always honest about my dog,my main sport is hunting up moorland and its surrounding reeds/rough heather and ratting. i go ferreting and lamping but my dog dosent do very well at it.she hasnt the patience for ferreting or the speed for lamping.still you have to use the dog you have so she does her best. i like the gwp cross,if you think about it all i want is a dog which hunts the same terrain as a pure gwp but with that bit extra speed to catch what it flushes.i have a five month old half cross pup here aswell as a seven week old pure gwp so ill have a busy summer getting those two ready for the back end of next season. my bitch is bred from a gwp bitch to a nuttall coursing dog. FJager 0
Cheers Mr Wright, very keen on the GWP's and that extra speed would no doubt suit your style of hunting, been told about your dogs before actually and it was a great report. Quote Link to post
Big bald beautiful 1,231
then i like the look of that 3/4 cross Quote Link to post

pointer 543
i think nose and stamina are more important than speed but im looking forward to seeing how the pup goes when he is older. Quote Link to post
