What should a Border dog of 14 months weight. ? He has the stamia of a wolf running behind the wife horse while out hacking. Border Collie or Border Terrier ?? his height in inches to the shoulder should approx be his weight in lbs...so a 12 inch at the shoulder BT should weight about 12. If he is eating all his food when you put it down he may want/need bigger portions, but you dont want him having too much and becoming fat, that said my dogs are pretty much ad lib fed and eat left overs as well and they are OK probably worms? or he is just naturally thinner---like me Quote Link to post Share on other sites
