Recommended Posts

hi im looking at gettin a hw 35 in .177

used one for plinking a while ago and liked it does anyone hunt or has used one to hunt with?

cheers

dan

Superb guns, with probably the best open sights available. The only thing I find a bit off is the safety, bit difficult to use until you get used to it.

weirachs in general are high power air riffles and most are manufactured to run at 18ft/lbs wich i believe is the german legal limit they simply hack a bit off the spring and send them over or here so i'm lead to believe !

When I turned up at my local gun club with my new HW 95k, the lads crono it and suprised it was below the limit :icon_eek:

you were surprised or they were ???

as i say, i'm led to believe they just hack a bit off the spring and send them over, but put a new spring in them and they will allways be over the 12ft/lbs

Had 2 HW35,s in both calibres. They are a good, solid gun as are all HW,s.Both of mine were just standard sprung guns & both took normal airgun quarry at realistic ranges. You can get the export model with a nicer stock & a longer barrel for a few extra quid.Lots of people own the HW95 might be worth a look at as well :gunsmilie:
