Guest smashygadge Posted March 25, 2008 Report Share Posted March 25, 2008 beddyx are good for the rabbits but will take foxes as well before the ban beddy X are good rabbiting dogs, seen my mates work day & night... she would have foxes & roe aswell... obediant aswell.... heard they could sometimes yap a bit dont no if right mate mine had beddyx seemed a bit timmid and late in coming on Quote Link to post

woz 260 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Share Posted March 25, 2008 rabbitting dog narrows it down...i wont have a lamping dog going out ferretting..i dont value a good nose on a lamping dog..iv seen to many hunt when they loose the rabbit...hears my two.the one on the right is collie/grey/suluki....they are both 4 years old and unfit at the moment Quote Link to post

craigyboy 1,274 Posted March 25, 2008 Report Share Posted March 25, 2008 it dosnt really matter how its bred aslong as it has a bit of collie in it...just gives them a little bit of brain.i recon if you want an all rounder thats what id go for if i had the choice again.....if you just want a dog to do one job get a specialist.ie coursing get suluki blood,ferreting get beddie blood,walking around the town looking cool get a bull x....... just kiddin about the bull x's get a bullxgreyhound theres nowt they cant do an from my experience the best i wouldnt have owt else Quote Link to post
