Guest HAWKEYE
Why do various people use this as part of a dogs diet..is it purely for the carbs ?
Guest Buck
i'd say more of a filler mate. i use it but i make sure that the raw meat etc comes first. brown bred has lots of minerals etc in it for dogs, but you can't replace proper meat. DO NOT FEED WHITE BREAD!!!
socks 32,253
its fed for carbs and fibre mate ... dont feed white as the bleach will cause all sorts of gut problems ..... infact its shit for humans ........

socks 32,253
you dont get the fibre value from rice or pasta .... wholemeal bread is fine and there is no problems feeding that type of bread to dogs .... Yeast dough is a different matter as it will expand in the gut ... but cooked wholemeal bread isnt a problem at all ...........

There's plenty of running dog men that feed their dogs cereal for breakfast so a cup or two is no problem although they are far too high in salt for my liking.
