mush 204
He's a show dog lurchermick. what an idiot statement to make you clown the picyure with khan is one i took its my bitch khan was bred by chris pemberton and was arguably in his day one of the best coursing salukis in the country as for being show blood hes all kizzy and pharoh i think 'Lycie is going by what he looks like. Hes not all kizzy and pharoh which is a good thing as most of the salukis around are from the same breeding. Seen vances ash & abbey run a few times good dogs as to khan being the best well there was a lot of good dogs around at the time and unless they meet you cant really say that. Quote Link to post

mush 204
they don't know how lucky they are, as they have millions of acres of land that anyone can hunt on as long as they have a licence, every where should be like that . Quote Link to post
whin 463
a cuuningham is a type of cold blooded greyhound bred by the texan oil feild men for killing jack rabbits and the male for coyotes they have slanted eyes abit and are high powerd running dogs , saw afew over in new mexico part cunningham and catch jack rabbits better than anything ive saw ,in my eyes they are a lurcher and the name cunninhm is scottish so dogs were named after the people probaly , got pics and saw some of them catch three jackrabbits in a day , i wouldnt mind them in my kennnel for roe flushiing and hare flushing, ive saw some run for four mins on hard jack rabbits they are rare now and mosthave a bit saluk in them but you will see one pop up once in while with slanted eyes and plenty go in them Quote Link to post

hollands hope 1,024
were did they get the stamina from ,i supose they bred something else in the line Quote Link to post
whin 463
the jack rabbit is a far harder animal to catch and the terrain suits the jack rabbit, they are used to coyotes golden eagles etc and being classed as vermin well they have to be clever , they have cactuses creosote bushes cat claw bushes you need a dog fast like a greyhound feet like a cattle dog or saluk and the agility and stamina of a saluk , you get some easier than others but they are difficult over there if you get big rains, you get more rabbits ,so easier to catch but when its dry etc they are wild more fleet and can run like the wind and thye have cover to hide ,you cant see them they get out the dry grass and woosh they are gone , most saluks etc tiol but some can catch them ,cunnighams i would say are more like a greyhound they bred here in the early ninteen hundreds for coursing when stamina was as important as speed before race tracks spioled a lot of greyhounds etc for a 300 yrd dash , Quote Link to post
mush 204
were did they get the stamina from ,i supose they bred something else in the line think its from years of breeding, best to best Quote Link to post
whin 463
yep best to best no show ring shite just good ole boys working dogs for jacks and them ole coyotes , but yes these cunnigham greyhound types ,well they can run for three to four mins at a high speed chase they would be ideal; for three out of three on the larger feilds or small feilds , only saw ahandfull or maybe two dogs over here who can run for four minsor three at ahigh pace and be good mouthed with good feet etc , they look like a strong deep chested greyhound but dtrong feet and deep chested got pics of them great typeof running dog my mates got two of them and he es going tofind it hard to get a dog in the same class to mate withthemas they are both females and they are pretty rare now he maybe fancy a tazi cross or a good galgos all the best but not many thta are real hare catchers Quote Link to post
