Have the warty things ever fallen off got knocked? Am wondering whats underneath but wasnt suggesting you deliberately poke them about lol

They almost look like hes footed himself and they've healed in lumpy scabs?? Sorry no help at all on that :hmm:

could be pox rick, saw something about it on one of the other forum only the other day, could of even been yesterday.

 

yes thats what im thinking after looking on the net? but he only has it on his feet none on his cere or around eyes, but theres a few different forms of it........ do you know anyone whos delt with this

anyone got any ideas what these are? they are like small bown warts also anyone know of any good vets in northamptonshire, warwickshire

ayup. ask angie on this site shes a cracking vet and a falconer matey and will always give anybody a hand.

they are based in essex though. give em a ring or an email.

just an update i managed to see a vet in banbury west bar very nice chap, anyway it is pox told me not to stress the bird out apply fuciderm cream to infected areas and give him vit a.. also keep everthing super hygine to help contan it, should last for about 4 weeks :(

yes thats what he said , we shall see hopfully wont have any problems

 

 

I'm sure you'll sort it mate :thumbs:. I have'nt thankfully had any problems with it but a guy had a Peregrine with it down this way. this bird had it pretty bad around its Cere aswel as its feet! from what I can remember Rickardo it did hang on for a while and nothing seemed to shift it until it ran its course, the bird did eventualy fully recover though mate which is one good thing....
