ratmogit 16 Posted March 20, 2008 Report Share Posted March 20, 2008 used to run a russel before the wife let me have a lurcher . we ran him with a big deerhound x in small feilds he d be up their arse and another one in the bag . demon onthe hedge too . i run a bull bitch 19tts around 50% shell catch when fit . she turns like a bus but jumps and retreives to hand . its a bit of fun when there isnt the numbers to have a great dog out every night .......good excuse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! slip 1 Posted March 20, 2008 Report Share Posted March 20, 2008 messed about with my chocolate lab (not the fat type, hes working bred) caught 1 in a big rape field! hasnt had any since, leave it all to my old lurcher now! good fun tho! full colie years ago youst ta get a loan off a mate was just a nipper at the time was mad keen but had no mentor so learnd the hard way youst ta get killed of the ma used ta head off on me own woudnt get home till all hours then up for school so i always encourage kids now cause i no what it was like when a young lad Quote Link to post

My plummer x russel terrier caught her first rabbit on the lamp just now. Shes obviously not quick enough to usually get them but she managed to grap this 1 as it was getting through a fence.
