I owned a male Boerboel when living in South Africa and he was used as a farm dog and killed anything from Jackals,Baboon,Carcel and even a small Leopard. He was great with my other dogs witch were a female Rottweiler and a female Aussie cattle dog but never came across another male dog. He was a great dog but was killed by a wondering lion. metz 0
f**k me, that was some dog then , the yarpie lads are always showing me there stuff on there dogs , one lad had a red one and it looked the business, he uses it as a guard dog and apparently it has claimed a few arms and fingers from a few undesirable locals who thought it would be clever to see what he had in his house , f**k i would have loved to see that !! hahaa Quote Link to post
Guest ocs1867
Great dogs but pointless owning one in England imo. I have heard from breeders in S.A that Boerboels have killed large female spotted Hyenas single handedly as well. Quote Link to post
