Guest world.hunters Posted March 20, 2008 Report Share Posted March 20, 2008 got me brand spanking new camera and lens today Canon 40D & Sigma 28-300mm 1:3.5-6.3 first impressions is that its very good build quality alot faster then me 400D but it does weigh a fair bit more aswell. i should be out tomorrow morning so will get some good snaps. so who else uses the 40D anyone on here i know dawn does. Guest world.hunters Posted March 20, 2008 Report Share Posted March 20, 2008 thats the aperture mate In optics, an aperture is a hole or an opening through which light is admitted. the lower the number the better. mine is 3.5 - 6.3 if you go much lower then you start paying alot of money. the setup i just got will set you back just shy of a grand mate. if i was you i would get tht kit my mate is selling its spot on for a beginner and im sure he will show you some photos he has taken with it. W.h Canon 40D is a nice bit of kit. I used to have the Canon 350D and then looked to upgrade and ended up changing brand totally to the pentax K10D really nice camera has taken a while to get used to it but takes some stunning shots.
