Guest Ditch_Shitter
Barely has half an inch to go back/ But I really need it as far back, towards my face, as it'll go. Simple enough. It's mounted on a sliding rail and loosening the two big screws will allow it to slip back that bit ..... But will it loose it's zero if I do that? Cheers. Quote Link to post

The Sporting Agent 0
Yes; it will change the elevation, prob only slightly but it will. Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
I have all sorts of reservations about ANY movement of a scope. There are meant to be mounts that clip on and off and "keep" their zero but I would not trust ANYTHING, especially if you are shooting at any distance! In my book, if you breath heavily on the scope check the zero! Quote Link to post
mad al 146
well Ditch, I'd just feckin move it , I do all the time and sometimes I've been lucky enough to get away with it Scopes are always on the move so can't see you've got anything to loose Quote Link to post
Guest JohnGalway
If you do move it your point of impact will change, but slightly as has been said. After you move it check it on paper and adjust accordingly. Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Cheers, lads. It's just one more thing that adds to the pigliness of The Pig. I'd never dream of going for my best shot with an indifferent zero, so I'll rezero afterwards. Only I'm right low on ammo just now and a fresh box isn't even on the horizon. So, for now, I'll just stretch my neck across the bloody gap Quote Link to post
