I have just booked a holday stalking in scotland and I am there for a week im doing stalking for 2 days and obviously have a few left over anyone have any good ideas of what else I could try my hand at? I am staying near loch Tay if that is any help and am a keen fisherman, any good beats along the river or loch fishing. What is the grouse shooting like for prices?

When are you going? I know there is a decent equestrian centre up there if riding is your thing, and a place you can hire Land Rovers to go on an offroad safari.....lovely part of the world.

Ive always wanted to go panning for gold! You can do that in a couple of spots up scotland. Its not a sport but it looks good fun!

You'll be up by the Crieff Hydro and Kenmore, Pitlochry maybe. Phone the hydro hotel and simply ask , they have contacts and if your good lady goes theres a cracking pool etc a weeks pass at the place could pay divi's with discounts, and then, in the pub at night talk the talk with yer man.For sure that area is great for the fishing ....and fowling ..ahem.. but thats later in the year.
