Merganser 0
Most military ammo have 2 flash holes which are off centre. The flash hole is between the primer and the body of the cartridge. Most reloading dies single or multi stage, decap and resize on stage one, therefore not compatable with twin flash hole cartridges like most military ammo. :drag: :drag: :drag: Edited March 21, 2008 by Merganser Quote Link to post
v-max 2
Merganser is on the ball & correct the brass is no use to you as it has 2 flash holes. Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
the 2 flash holes on the case are called the berdan type, used mainly on military weapons, and the single hole are the boxer type. the single hole or boxer type, can be decapped with the neck size die with the decapper built in, whereas the berdan type has to be levered out with a chiesel type tool.
