the keeper 0
looked at pups shit, after all it was in the damm kitchen blood!? thats not normal right im sure??? it could be a fissure a small tear inside, is the dog in good health and eating well? if not go to the vets. Quote Link to post
Border Terrier 0
Jeez thats the last thing you want to see when your having your weetabix in the morning Has the pup been wormed properly? or has it possibly eaten something it should have? if the pups got a lot of worms in its gut it can make the gut unstable and more liable to infection, hence the blood, and sometimes muscus when they do the toilet. worm it and put it on a chicken and rice diet for a week that should dry it up and get rid of any worm burden that might be making the pup weak internally Quote Link to post
lurchergrrl 1,441
 My two year old daughter is sitting on my knee, she saw that and said "Eeewwww mummy, poo!" It's probably just a tear as the others have said. Bright red blood usually indicates lower intestinal trouble or a small tear. So long as it doesn't increase or carry on for days it should be ok. As long as the pup is ok other wise, eating and drinking normally etc. .... the sherriff's badge?? pmsl! Quote Link to post
