Drove about a hour and met 4 lads , scruffy c**ts, turns out very nice looking dog but they had sold the saluki cross and palmed me off with a beddlington whippet they said very good worker, exellent lamper exellent for rabbits and fox, took it out for a quick shine on the lamp . it started very good first slip on a rabbit nearly had it but the rabbit got threw a dry stone wall fair enough, second slip ran past a squatted rabbit, thaught notting of it then the dog started to work the whole field and wouldnt come back, then when we finaly got a slip the stupid thing started yapping on rabbits thaught it might of been because it couldnt jump the fence, i was told it was an exellent jumper. then finally sliped it on another squatted rabbit started to run it fine , yapping, struck the rabbit and missed i thaught yes! going to have one in the bag , then after it missed it the rabbit ran away in the beam and the dog came back to me, be carefull who and what you are buying with lurchers just been conned out of £100 Quote Link to post
