its all [bANNED TEXT] calling lads in if its legal etc but what if not i wouldnt get guys in unless trusted and im afraid not many localy i would trust , there only a handfull not even that who want to ru the risk etc so [bANNED TEXT] better with people who are on the same level of you and are switched on to the nessasary game youre after you cant just find people im afraid to dodgy etc nowadays

weve got roughly 3000 acres of permission and we are expected to go at least once a week..if we are shooting we always drive the ground..we use landrover/shogan or land cruiser which ever vehicle has the most fuel in really,all three trucks have road tyres so we dont churn the ground up..if im running my dogs we park up and walk with them...we always get a good bag weather walking or driving..have found somtimes that if we are shooting a fox off the bonnet and turn the engine off they run off...so now we leave the motor running and they generaly stay about...

Having hunted most parts of the UK I would have to say its like the age old argument about lurcher types which ones best ?????????????? Horses for courses if you are on a 5000 acre arable farm dry or stubble I would drive ,most land owners want the job done thats why your there.

Alternatively on a 350 acre hill sheep farm in the Brecon Beacons makes more sense to walk.

everyones hunted in Cornwall. I have land in cornwall and to be honest i would say it brilliant for rabbiting in some places as it is perfectly flat, quite large fields with wind due to location. where abouts in cornwall are you?

Ha Ha that brought a smile to my face ,was on honeymoon in the nineties in a cottage down by lands end it was sniving with rabbits,had a chat with the land owner in my spare time two minutes,he was gagging for some rabbit control gave us the following week free I went home picked up the dogs and ferrets caught fiffty seven in three days and fuffilled by matrimonial duties :whistling:
