OK here's one for you to work out :wallbash: would I be entitled to walk through a block of tree's which is run by the Forestry Commission? you can legally walk your dog through a wood that belongs to them as long as it is kept under control, so the question is would I be able to fly through a wood if my bird is under control :whistling: there are several people I know that have the shooting Rights with the Forestry Commission would I be able to get flying Rights :hmm: would be interesting to find out more as I have heard of the Forestry Commission granting license's but not sure if they still do.

no idea but what i do know is that they are making it HELL for hunts to get trailhunting permits, including wanting to have maos of propsed trails laid :whistling: and publishing them publically in local press.

you might get lucky if you ask em. they dont like dogs running a mock because of damage to trees and what not. if you can convince them that your bird will not create damage and that he/she loves squirrels you might be in with a chance. a bird does a lot less damage than what a gun does. its just convicing them to let you. you might have to keep going up the ranks if your refused the first time round until you reach the main person in charge. try getting permission at a few tree nurserys with problem squigys and use them as a reference as daft as it sounds.
