Irish Lurcher 1,013
Just a little story that I heard last evening while at work. The teller was my son who had just taken his first hare with our bitch Sasha. He took her and my young whippet x for their evening stroll down the local fields. My son had made friends with the farmer who has allowed him to hunt on the land; I think my son is in school with the farmer’s son. Anyway he was strolling across the bigger of the fields when he spotted a pair of ears in the grass, Sasha had also copped the movement and was almost on his back legs. Sasha was slipped and in his own words to me on the phone, Dad quick come home cause Sasha is chasing a hare and I think she is going to catch it, yeah yeah she has it was the scream down the phone to me. I was over the moon for him; he is now well and truly hooked on running dogs. Quote Link to post
