FOXHUNTER 5,021
Me and David went to Scotland Friday night for a spot of foxing. I was lamping with David shooting again.1st fox I spotted was at the top of the next field , I gave it a call and it came in really well , not flying in just steady. David was lying waiting ,the fox just kept coming and coming . As it approached the fence I shouted to stop it but it took no notice , went under the fence , through the ditch , under the next fence and kept coming .I shouted again and it took no notice , I thought it was going to sit on my lap eventually I managed to stop it at about 50 yards which is when David shot it. A fine vixen......... We continued lamping and eventually found another fox. This time David gave it a little squeak and it flew in to about 50 yards once again , once again David took it and it rolled down the steep banking , David went to retrieve it , he would make a good gundog This fox turned out to be a big dog fox that really stunk with one canine missing. Another enjoyable nights lamping mate !!! Quote Link to post
