Guest Spike 70
Not long back from finding a nice dry drain on my"extensive permission"....lol. You know the sort of place...about 50 yards long, on the brake in a hedge row, closest wood 150 yards away.....mmmmmmm....easy kill thinks I. Collar on, dog in, Lurcher at the ready...here we go! Fox out, runs one side of the hedge, lurcher strikes, misses, fox goes the other side of hedge and makes for the wood with lurcher in hot persuit. 5 mins later the dog comes back with heaving sides but no signs of combat. Bugger!!!! The moral of the story is ALL WAYS TAKE A NET!! He wont be so lucky next time   Quote Link to post
