FOR SALE MY DOG SLY

i seen this dog run since january and this dog is a good dog and is only 22 months....ive seen him have some hard runs and he just keeps going and kills most he runs.....i spoke to poacher9991 on the phone earlier and he said he dont want to get rid of sly because hes a good dog but he cant keep him no more and it wouldnt be fair on his bitch......next year i think he will be even better and me and poacher9991 were talking the other day about him when we was out and we were saying how well we recon he was going to do next year 3 out of 3 or 4 out of 4 each week we was saying......if i had the room i would definetly put that dog in my kennels and have him....whoever takes this dog on will be a lucky man because all the hard work and training has already gone into him and he is being given away on a plate and just needs a good dogman to take this dog on and give it the runs and care that he needs

 

i know the dog has a few cuts every dog gets them and it is better to not run them than make them worse a week or sos rest and this dog will be ready for action again...so the people saying why would you bring on a lame dog because this dog can run.....and a few little cuts wouldnt stop him let me tell you

 

hope he gets a good home poacher9991 i will ask about because i know will was interested when he saw him run them few times and i remember him saying if you ever got rid of him he would have him.....so he might have him but il ask about anyway mate

 

 

So why not just say its a few small cuts instead of saying its a bit lame...and I agree with others who have questioned the wisdom of moving a good up and coming dog on. These things usually come back to bite you on the ass.

Mate, I don't mean to come across as a smart arse, I've seen threads for sale degenerate because of smart arses and it's genuinely not my intention.

But here's what I think (and hopefully others) when I read posts like it, why get rid of such a handy dog to concentrate on another, doesn't make sense to me to get a dog to that standard at that age and get rid of it to start again.

Think if your finding work for one dog it shouldn't be too hard to find it for two.

If it's as handy as yourself and others say why does it need advertised, doesn't anyone you know want him.

hes not really gunna get rich off £450 is he lol....its more than a fair price if you ask me ive payed 4 times that fr good dogs in the past,iv just retired a 2yr old dog for not making the grade how much food wud it take to get to where he is....read the guys posts before judjement seems genuine enough...sometimes you just have to move a dog on its the way it is!!!

 

theres lame and permanent damage anyone who knows what theyre on about will be able to tell anyhow..
