lurcherchavvy 3 Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 i seen this dog run since january and this dog is a good dog and is only 22 months....ive seen him have some hard runs and he just keeps going and kills most he runs.....i spoke to poacher9991 on the phone earlier and he said he dont want to get rid of sly because hes a good dog but he cant keep him no more and it wouldnt be fair on his bitch......next year i think he will be even better and me and poacher9991 were talking the other day about him when we was out and we were saying how well we recon he was going to do next year 3 out of 3 or 4 out of 4 each week we was saying......if i had the room i would definetly put that dog in my kennels and have him....whoever takes this dog on will be a lucky man because all the hard work and training has already gone into him and he is being given away on a plate and just needs a good dogman to take this dog on and give it the runs and care that he needs i know the dog has a few cuts every dog gets them and it is better to not run them than make them worse a week or sos rest and this dog will be ready for action again...so the people saying why would you bring on a lame dog because this dog can run.....and a few little cuts wouldnt stop him let me tell you hope he gets a good home poacher9991 i will ask about because i know will was interested when he saw him run them few times and i remember him saying if you ever got rid of him he would have him.....so he might have him but il ask about anyway mate Link to post Share on other sites
lurcherchavvy 3 Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 i think you may regret selling that dog young man. cos you can bet your life that your other up and coming bitch will get injured at some point during the season. there arnt any coursing men i know that would worry about having 2 dogs and not working one enough. theres always enough work for 2 dogs , i would have a good think about it first fella. by the way hes a nice type and in good shape best of luck TOMO if i had that dog i wouldnt get rid of him mate but i think he will end up keeping him because i cant see how he can get rid of him....i recon he will be a very good dog next season Link to post Share on other sites
