what about the fight ali had with was it liston???

ali threw a punch that put liston out but footage now shows that the punch missed by an inch???.and liston went down like he,d been hit with a hammer

i admit he was good but it could have been so different.

ali was the greatest without a doubt .......when yu look at fighters now they have an avantage with all the modern technology like better shoes lighter..aslo heart monitors fitness monitors these gadgets tell you how much to loose how many press ups to do..etc..imagen if ali had this...and louis..these lads were old school training didnt need technology they had heart.....i think todays heavyweight division is rediculousluy poor ...audley and williams..lol... :11:

well said rooster there was 3 fights between them.Ali won 2 and Norton won 1 and a lot of people thought he got 2 lucky descisions.

A good example of how threads get diverted onto meanningless drivvle! :11: :11: Pre locator days must have been heavy on casualties of terriers.Im told the badger digs on faster than a man in sandy soil,and so many terriers trying to follow would have been buried alive.Terriers were chosen for voice as much as gameness,which today has to an extent been overlooked,as now mute ,game dogs can be dug to.

Wonder what parson jack would have thought of that !

wow how a thread can change :11: gunna have my penny worth i always thought larry holmes was very underestermated,,, ali is a pure genius and a tyson with his head straight was a awesome opponent..

Back on to the topic :11: after a disscussion with some mates we all agreed on past terriers were better because they were kept for working purposes first & conformation last, too many these days keep dogs because they look the part but when it comes down to it alot of them cannot graft like the old lines, thats why many people keep chasing the old line dogs to try & get back what they see as the epitome of a perfect worker.

By the way on boxing did anyone watch those 2 girlies dancing about on saturday night? I'm glad Danny Williams won, probably the most boring fight i've watched.
