nuv 2
Surely the only people that can answer this are the older lads on here that have worked terriers for many years plus how easy were terriers dug to before locator collars came about .. i mean in reall y deep tricky earths <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good point mik... One thing I would say, is how far back anyway...the locator question puts it into perspective really. I've had terriers 21 years and had locators when I started. But then look at Lucas's day...dug badgers but never lifted a spade...always had a team of navvies with them...didn't nead locators, just trenched and destroyed the settes. Quote Link to post

Guest trev
No questions asked, ali was without doubt the undisputed "KING", he had class, Tyson had brawn , both great boxers of their time and i liked both, but at the end of the day tyson was like a bad terrier, he quit. Â <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Spot on that Trevor, Mr. "I'm gonna rape your mother and kill your kids" held the record for getting beat whenever someone hit him back. He was a self confessed old dear mugger and that fault line got found out. The initial question was Clay and Louis and to add a simili poignant to this thread i would say that Clay was the greatest heavyweight because he was able to change styles according to the conditions. Intrestinglly before the Douglas fight Clay was interviewed and asked how he would have dealt with a force like "Iron Mikes", he made no bones about his reply and quickly whiped through how to undo a "matchpower fighter" (of couse he had already accomplinshed this already twice in his life...for the title....employing two diffent styles (he had more)...). He was the first "Superstar" to transcend his sporting talents (and a very hard man). Oneredtrim <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But if Angelo Dundee hadn't cheated, Cooper might well have beaten him.
