jasper65 6 Posted March 15, 2008 Report Share Posted March 15, 2008 Switched on the pc this morning and the Monitor screen has gone a light Purpleish Pink , I have checked the connections and all seems fine. could this be the Graphics card or has the Monitor finally gone tits up? anyone know how I can test which may have gone? any help would be much apreciated.... Jasper Pass! You sure you haven't been eating funny mushrooms? If it's a CRT, not a flatscreen, it could just need a degauss. Have a play with the buttons on the front and go through the menu. jasper65 6 Posted March 15, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 15, 2008 Many thanks guys . its a old Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 750 CRT, I would say its a good 5 year old now and used daily, I can't understand I switched the pc off as normal last night and all was ok! switched it on this morning and its Pink ... Just had a fiddle and found the Degauss but still no joy! I'm a tight git and hate the idea of spending money on a system I just flick on for emails and nothing else....
