Born Hunter 17,812
Had my AA S410 .22 for over 3 years now and taken plenty with it but all i really do now is rabbit shooting so i feel i would benefit more from a .177. Question is do i go for a pcp (probably a new S410 in .177) or do i take a risk and go for a theoben evolution with thumbhole stock? Sounds a daft question..........obviously as a 'tool' the S410 seems the choice not to mention i have used one for the past 3 years and am confident with them, but i really like the look of the evo and love the self contained no running out of air due to the gas ram. I am pretty much decided that i will go with the evo, but ive just got this doubt in my mind that i wont be able to shoot it as well as the S410. Has anyone who has shot pcp's mainly made the change to a gas ram (particularly the evo) and found any problems? Also whats most peoples take on the theoben evolution with thumbhole stock? I am going to have a trip to the gun shop and have a good look, just wanted just opinions. Quote Link to post
