ferretville 69
Evening all, i was wondering if anyone could help me with advice regarding air rifle`s .177,.22 to be specific. I was speaking with one of the farmer`s the other day with whom i have permission . I ferret alot of the land he has and he is well happy with the work i`ve done in keeping the rabbits in check. He has given me ongoing permission but realise`s that i cannot ferret through out the summer, so he said that if i wanted too i could do a bit shooting rabbit`s, pidgeon`s, crow`s that sort of thing . I told him that i did `nt have a gun or air rifle but with that offer he got me thinkin. With this permission being close by i thought an air rifle would be ideal so any advice would be much appreciated FV Quote Link to post

James@Scarborough 0
I have a HW95 in .22. I bought it as my first rifle brand new, and doubt that I will ever sell it. It is a great air rifle, and cost £300 with scope, silencer and case. I would recomend them to anyone. Mine has taken many bunnies, but now gets used more for birds since I progressed to .22lr. Guest bigredbusa
im a bit biased and like the gunpower stealth ( only because you can do so much with it) but after looking at a aa410 the other day i could be swayed , someone on here as a full setup for £450 which i think is bargain. go down your local gunshop and see what they have , try a few and see which ones has the right feel and balance for you . then go the bbs website or put a wanted up here for the gun of your choice also i would be looking for something in .22 Quote Link to post
