Mr_Logic 5
Can two rifles (223 and 243 ) share an over-barrel sound moderator? Would they both have to be the same weight of barrel? Quote Link to post

Mr_Logic 5
Well that's good, how does it work in really simple terms (sorry for being stupid!). I buy a moderator, and the sleeves can be bought with, or they need to be made up? Quote Link to post

jon15 14
I have just bought a mod that fits both my 243 and my 308, it is a 30 cal mod, but does a pretty good job on the 243. Quote Link to post
garyw 0
most if not all moderators are designed for the amount of powder burned in the barrel so 1 moderator can fit more than one caliber/rifle.i have one thats on a 20 cal rifle and is going to be used on a 17 fb it also fits a 17 rem i have.take the moderator to a gun smith/rifle builder and they can adapt it with differant bushings to fit more than one rifle of course the threading on the barrel has to be the same.
