Tiny well crack on and do your own thing everyone to is own .

im sure you will endevour to breed what you want and am glad they arent marketed as Plummers.I would imagine every breed has recessives that crop every now and again..as far as bicoloured terriers go they dont get a pedigree now..they are few and far between as are the pale nosed dogs, old time diseases etc ..thanks to clubs and pedigrees.

Bill I bake fine breds for everyday use not luxury cakes for the weekends,I will leave that to the lads who seek out every single plummer class at every show going..then ridicule the KC lol.

Steve you ware the emblem of anti establishment with great gusto and i would say with great pride .. Cowtowing to rules is not everyones idea of fun you amongst many others we as a club are glad have wondered off into the wild blue yonder. :boogie:

Theres always someone or two or three who thinks they can do things better..but seems not sepration from the mother ship usely means death unless rputtions are so great that they keep you alfoat...rare :clapper: mavericks abound, in the working terrier world but plummers have more than there fare share.

Purebred pups are sold here Steve not f1s or f2s3,4,5, or bitsas all are bred for a reason to gain myself a pup, the rest are sold.Sometimes 3 litters a year not massive numbers id say, all spoken for before they are born and sold reasonabley priced ..ask yourslef why that is :boxing::clapper:

When then, does a dog become a plummer? When you say so??    :snack:

A masterbaker-now youre THE MOTHER SHIP??? you are taking the piss are'nt you glenn? This is a wind up surely!

Come on-lets have the punch line!

Plummers have pedigrees and they derive from clubs, not from memory but written facts so its not when I say its what they are ..why Bill? dont etll me you have yet more foxterrier russlly crossses for us. Have your had a resurgence of f1s for us to save the bred from this minute genepool.. :boxing::clapper:

Amazed that any one would want to see a "working terrier"excepted by the kc,The kiss of death.Would have to wonder how important the working side is for some.

years ago just after the parson got recognised met a man at crufts who had a nice parsons who was the sec of the fell and moorland worked the dogs sisters and parents with a hunt ..says enough for me.

I TOTALY AGREE WITH DAVE A, I HAVE WORKED TERRIERS 4 25YRS, I SAY WORKED 4 U PLUMMER OWNERS, WORKED MEANS DIGGING 2 ( 1 ) SINGLE TERRIER 2 ITS QUARRY NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES THIS IS WHERE IT URNS THE TITLE WORKING TERRIER, NOT RATS,BUSHING,RABBITS, OR PUTTING A COUPLE A DOGS TO GROUND. THE WORKING TERRIER IS A SOLERTARY WORKER, NOT A PACK ANIMAL, I HAVE FIRST HANDED WITNESSED PLUMMERS AT DIGS TO MY OWN TERRIERS ON 3 SEPERATE OCCASIONS, THAY HAVE BEEN OFFERD THE WORK BEFORE MY TERRIERS, YES THAY FOUND, 5 MINUTES 1 BITE THEN OUT. ON ONE OCCASION I LET A PLUMMER HAVE A LOOK AT THE QUARRY SIDE OF MY DOG, NOT INTRESTED IN FOXY BUT TORE INTO THE BACK END OF MINE, PLUMMERS ARE NOT AND NEVER WILL BE WORKING TERRIERS. THERE RATTING PACK ANIMALS, AND VERY QUARELSOME. THIS IS WHY CERTAIN OWNERS OUTCROSS TO WORKERS OF OTHER TYPE, LIKE MY FRIEND AND TT

Tidy pups t.t. Are they the f1 or f2?

:clapper::clapper: f1s :clapper: nice one bill your speciality

Thats the punchline? You forgot the :tongue2: icon, which would have made it even more witty and cutting. :icon_redface:

You constantly resort to childish insults when your Outlandish and spurious claims are questioned- the "mother ship"of the plummer terrier? Get real ffs. Masterbaker was almost the correct claim. Your posts invariably make such claims as-"bred more plummer terriers than anyone alive or dead". You then say that you only breed when you want a pup-"say 3 or 4 litters per year". Inconsistant at best. You also the have the front to criticise other folk for breeding for money! Priceless.

I'm afraid its obvious to the vast majority of plummer owners that the plummer terrier is the means to boost your ego rather than any selfless devotion to the breed. This fact is clearly illustrated by your comments of "being a big fish in a little pond" in previous threads-hardly an attitude conducive to the good of the breed?

Try a paddle in the big sea-or do you fear you may drown into obscurity? Maybe best you keep bolstering your ego and insecurities in your puddle and carry on denigrating all others as is your want.

Wake up and smell the coffee glen-there are OTHER plummer terriers out there besides yours. Some very nice ones.

It is no wonder you are not popular in plummer circles and indeed the wider terrier world-try a little humility instead of your pompous boasts and ridiculing of others.

And try using your spellcheck. :bye:

when im starting a terrier,I try to stack everything in its favour(at first),hence the 2 dogs,i wouldnt let a terrier to ground with a dog its not used of.dogs eat the arse off another dog because they want to ,not because they cant see etc.If you were training a youngfella to box,you wouldnt put him with mike tyson in his first bout, you dont have to be in a car crash to be a good driver.

no young dog worth its salt needs to be doubled up,those that do have no place with me.i think you are on a losing battle trying to persuade experienced digging men that plummers make reliable, single handed digging dogs.they do not.you never answered my question as to why you bred that bitch after so few digs?

because i felt like it.the pups are are double bred to a very good bitch with an outcross(1/4) of pitbull.Id always breed off a good bitch by the time shes two,you can have problems breeding to older bitches for the first time+ ill know after these pups start working whether shes worth breeding off (plenty of great dogs and bitches of all breeds dont breed on).also i had 3 terriers stolen last year and am re stocking.

I wouldnt try to persuade you they all make good earthdogs(ive heard enough bad stories about them too). The half pits started a lot younger than their full plummer 1/2 siblings
