what scope for 17mr?

I am looking to upgrade scope on my 17hmr something is suitable for crows,magpies and rabbits etc.that is good enough for small targets out to 150 yards.changing euros to dollars is good at he moment so i have been looking at some leopold sights on net maybe something like 6.5 18 40 do you think this would be a good choice.i also shoot foxes on the lamp occasonaly.also what type of rectical would you recommend?leopold do a long range varmant that has afine cross hair.do you think this would be agood choice?any advice would be much appreciated

iv got a mtc viper 8-32x60 and mounts i bought it for my hmr and just couldnt get on with it....lost confidance and took it off.....reatails at £299 you can have it for £200..... :sick:

go for a bushnell elite 6x24x50 with side px. from the usa

or a burris of the same sort of mag mate. both top scopes and at good prices over there

i have the bushnell elite 6-24x 40. the older model on my 17hmr.love it....

I've just ordered a Bushnell elite 5-15x50 to go on my .223. I have a Leupold 3-9x40 on my HMR and it's pretty good.
