just wondered what all you lads/lasses use to worm 4 week old pups? is now the time to do it?

i would wait till it has it's first jab then git some of the vet

i allways worm mine from 2weeks old and do the bitch at the same time with jonsons puppy wormer u can get it from any pet shop and i carry on doin that untill there 6mths old then change 2 drontol plus thats the way ive all eays done it with pups and it seems 2work

would be riddled in them if you wait till 8to10 week old

panacur from two weeks old the liquid is the best do the pup every two weeks till 12weeks old then every three or four months or as requied

hi there

ive used various wormers and found the best to be Drontal Suspension, its better than Panicur as it has a syringe which fits in a small hole in the top and also its 1 dose not 3 like panicur.

you can get it online quite cheap , and if you worm the pups 3 times before they are ready to leave they should be well clear of all types of worms.

I use Shelly's puppy wormer

it comes with a pump nozel on the end

i worm my pups from 3 weeks then every 2 weeks

I agree, I use the liquid panacur aswell and from 2 weeks. It works a treat, just mix it with some scraped meat, or scrambled egg.

My pups are wormed at 2 weeks old with drontal tablets, and every 2 weeks until 12 weeks old, then every month until 6 months old, then every 3 months thereafter. Do not wait till 8 weeks old as stated, your pup will be riddled with worms and most likely be very ill!!!!!

drontal puppy at weeks 2,4,6,8,10,12 first jag at 8 weeks and another at 11 weeks then hits the pavement at 12 weeks not before never had any problems this way touch wood

i got a pup of gazbull lastnite and jabbed it straight away then ill jab her again in 2weeks time then she wont need doin again untill next year
