CZ 452 Silhouette .22

Like the look of the CZ Silhouette and they seem great value for money, do they shoot well?

Yep. Almost every CZ is a charmer. The CZ452 is a brilliant action and the barrels are normally top-notch too. The trigger isn't the best but it's fine for rimfire ranges. Deker has one, he loves it. I've had 2 452s over the years - a varmint in HMR (shot brilliantly, dumped it for Hornet) and my dad's 22LR Lux, which he still has and still shoots a half inch at 50 yards (13 years old now).

Yep good gun I have one go for a 16" barrel as they are easier to use from a vehicle and also slightly lighter with no loss of accuracy.

my cz 452 22lr will hit empty 17hmr cases at 50 yards every time 10 round mag 10 cases hit...there brilliant..best rim fire for the money on the market....mine has a brooks trigger kit and a 4x12 viper scope....you would have to spend good money to beat one......

I have a Varmint, words can not rate it highly enough, it's a wonderful rifle and I marvel at its accuracy every time I use it.

Does the .22 have a free floating barrel?

they should be but generally there isnt enough room to get three seets of paper up between stock and barrell...20 mins with some sand paper free floats them
