Barbus 0
Well it's the last week of the season for coarse river fishermen What sort of a season have you had? were you affected by the big summer floods??? Last chance for me Wednesday evening, should get a few hours in on the river Dove. Roll on June 16th :drag: Quote Link to post
mart123blue 0
Not been out much due to finding/renovating and moving into new house. Going to have a last afternoon on the Mole freelining on Fri though. Going to get out much more after June 16 though. Quote Link to post

mart123blue 0
dug up a load of worms this afternoon. Going to test the worm/flooded water theory. will post any decent pics Quote Link to post
fishfish 17
sadly theres not much good river fishing here, just streams full of trout. however when i lived in salisbury there was realy good upper middle river coarse fishing, the nadder and on the Avon, fond memmories. personally ide like to see the closed season abolished,it is pretty pointless in this day and age, after all when the closed season was set people would take all manner of course fish for the table, now we use barbless hooks and return 99% of the catch! mart123blue 0
River was very high, few knocks on the worms but nothing landed. Could have been small stuff. Mate caught 4lb chub in morning before I arrived. Roll on the start of the new season. On a positive, it was still great to be out, bats swooping about etc. Quote Link to post
