mooster 1
Hello folks. I'm normally over on the ferreting forum or general chat but have paid you guys a visit to ask about something to do with the taking of wildfowl without a gun. Well when I was a kid I remember seeing a film in which a prisoner of war on the run stayed alive by swimming amongst some mallards before pulling one underwater for the pot. I've read loads of old poachers memoirs about the taking of wildfowl with snares, traps etc but am wondering if a duck or goose has ever been taken by a modern day hunter wearing a wetsuit, maybe with his head concealed with foliage? .....or have I just lost the plot?!!!!!!! If not i'll ask on general chat.....or just get my coat and go back home to the nuthouse!
