Cheers Leon <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hi leon if i was u id look for the nearest drain to your kennels and if possible dig a trench to it and lay a pipe from kennels. have u seen those long thin drains about 2 or 3 foot long galvanised tops. usually in front of carparks u can buy them from a builders yard fit them level with front of runs and your drainage will be sorted forever as for your runs what i had was 1 course of concrete blocks with three foot galvanised panels u see on walkways were they are doing the roads or building work they are 8 foot long and i cut them don to 5 foot and stood them on end for gates cut a hole into concrete and cemented a bit of kitchen sink waste pipelevel with floor and sloted them in may be of help king Quote Link to post

roybo 2,873
mine are simular to lucky's except at the sides i've used concrete posts & gravel boards, if I was to do them again i'd use steel on the front as one dog i've got chewed through the front in a day Roybo Quote Link to post

Cheers Leon <{POST_SNAPBACK}> the kennels i built 3yrs ago are similar to lucky,s except i built a shed 20ft wide,7fthigh and 6ftdeep, inside of which i built 6 bed boxes so that the shed can still be used as a shed, on the front there is 6 runs 10ft long and 3ft4ins wide so that all dogs have there own individual space, the concrete base is a foot longer than the 10ft runs and i cemented a brick high all round with a drain in the corner, obviously the concrete has a 2inch fall from back to front and side to side, the drain runs up the garden directly to the sewer manhole, all in all it cost about £1200, i couldve made it cheaper but ive got to look at every day.. happy building but it looks the part Quote Link to post
