T8 or predator 8? Your thoughts please ladies and gentlemen......

I am told that the T8 is the quieter, but the Predator can be taken apart for cleaning. Price wise there is only about £15 difference.

Hi mate, i just bought a stealth 10 mod from thewholeshootingmatch.com/co.uk

 

You can take it apart completely to clean, its stainless steel so won't rust, parts can be replaced individually, and its basically a t8 with 10 baffles, its quieter than a t8 and doesn't have a high pitch ring after shooting like mild steel

 

its lighter and slightly bigger than a t8

 

the downside is its £295, but t8's are made to be disposable and do wear out, rust and i would never buy or use one!!

have a look at magmans , very quiet. small. and not much more cost wise than the T8.

I've got a predator 8 , can't fault it so far, I had the choice of all the mods and bought this one, more or less same size as T8 , strippable to clean, the internals are coated in some special treatment they use on F1 car engines to protect it further.... its plenty quiet enough for what I want.

Check out the A-tec mod from jager sporting in england, fully strippable, very quiet and light, only about 2 inches longer than the T8, check out posts for other mod's that eas up recently, the contact details are on it, or pm baldie, i had the details but lost them.

I use a T8 it is a good mod but a bummer that you can't get it to bit's to clean properly

feel like a bit of a nobber just ordered my t8 for cz 452 .223

£250 inculeds having the cz screw cut and the mod t8

i did not think that was to bad but i was told that you just spary wd40 in the mod at the end of use

and it is made to keep itself clean

 

i now have to wait as the gun has gone away to be cut it will take a few weeks cant wait

My T8 is on a Browning A-Bolt .223, nice rifle and ready screwcut, got the lot for £780 pity they belong work and not me!!!!

Have you been to the Gun Room at Acklam near Malton they are a dealer for Browning

No A-bolt .243s are imported in left hand versions.
