harrycatcat 31
Some chap at our club was talking about a new syndicate that he had just joined north of Lincoln 1200 birds down 9+1 days shoot 5 beat 5 drives all for£300 + £10 each time you shot (per day). I would have joined if I wasn't already in one on a Saturday. See how he goes on it sounds a bit on the cheap side to me but I could be wrong. What do other people pay ?? askiro 1
someone must be subsidising the syndicate or at least rearing the birds as the birds would cost almost that amount without feed sounds to good to be true. me and three friends buy day olds 300 pheasants 200 partridge, and we pay £400 a year that includes all food for the season. mark01856 7
i actually dont know if it is legal or not, its just we have really snobby hippy neighbours, and if it is perfectly legal to shoot pheseants that are in your garden that have came down from private land. then i can shoot them all i want, but i do not want my rifle taken off me by the cops! sorry if this is off topic, but, i am wondering if it is legal or not to shoot pheseants that have come into your garden? someone must be subsidising the syndicate or at least rearing the birds as the birds would cost almost that amount without feed sounds to good to be true.me and three friends buy day olds 300 pheasants 200 partridge, and we pay £400 a year that includes all food for the season. askiro 1
as you should already know its out of season at the moment to shoot gamebirds and it all depends on the size of your garden if your well away from all property and you have permission then theres no problem . But most people don't have a 2acre garden.
garyw 0
HARRYCAT i would take that statement with a pinch of salt maybe 200 birds down not 1200 if its true which it aint then ill take 3 guns for the season.it will cost more in feed than the fees.do you realise how much feed into how many hoppers you will need for 1200 birds, you will be surprised! :hmm:
