Having been a keen hunter back in SA I am desperate to get back into it over here seeing as I am now permanently relocated to Scotland. Does anyone know if it is possible for a non-UK citizen (but resident) to obtain a FAC? I am aware of the general requirements ie land permission etc. And also, does anyone know of a place to maybe start shooting rabbits or foxes (always good exercise!) up here in the Aberdeenshire area? HermanE 0 Posted March 8, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 8, 2008 As luck would have it I spoke to a friend of a friend this morning and he said he will assist me in obtaining land permission and also take me on an outing or two next week to see what the local fauna is like! Now I just need to start looking at what guns I want when I get that FAC! Don't think it will be worth the money and effort bringing my .270 and .22 over from SA, plus the .270 is not the most suited for what is on offer here. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
