Alright folks,

Was wondering what your thoughts were on this. Exercising two bitches yesterday, one catches the other the dominant bitch wheels on her and bites her upper shoulder, bicep. I break it up check the bitch - no punctures but bitch seems to be lame. Check her this morning bitch seems twice as bad and in more discomfort, no holes but. What do you reckon?

I have seen some bite wounds that produced pretty horrible bruising without breaking the skin. Part her hair and look closely at the skin, if she's bruised you'll be able to see it as a dark red or purple area, even on a dark-skinned dog. My only other thought would be maybe the biting bitch hit a nerve?

sounds like its just bruised mate had the same thing happen to 1 of my dogs on a fox PRE BAN she took knock at the begining of the night and went on to catch a few rabbits .But in the morning she could hardly move it took about a week before it got better!!
